FREE Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Training

  • Shasta College Main Campus Room 806 11155 Old Oregon Trail Redding, CA, 96003 United States (map)

Presenter: Kathryn Page, Ph.D.

What is FASD?

FASD affects at least 5% of us, and around 10 times that many kids in foster care. Rarely recognized outside of a few savvy states and Canada, this condition can cause unmanageable behavior and great family disruption if it isn't identified and treated properly. This training will help participants recognize the patterns of FSAD, understand what is really going on with the child, and will teach how to adapt your approach to support healthy, happy development. Parents, Teachers, Social Workers and Mental health providers will learn best practices--NOT traditional therapy!

May 10th, 9AM – 4PM
