The Ready for Life Host Homes Resource Center is designed to allow for a safe, welcoming environment for housing unstable transition aged young adults (age 18-24) to utilize computers, hang out, study, relax, do laundry, find clothing, food, and other basic essentials.
We hope the Resource Center will be a place to rest easy, knowing you are in a safe space, surrounded by people who want you to succeed.
Donation Closet
In an effort to provide essentials needed for daily functioning and security, the Ready for Life Host Homes program has a fully-stocked donation closet available to all young adults in the program. This closet includes clothes, shoes, toiletries, household items, blankets, etc.
Computer Access
Need a place to study for class or to work on your resume? We have computers available to use for searching for a job, working on homework, etc.
Washer & Dryer
Come do a load of laundry while you are working on housing paperwork or applying for jobs.
Donations
We are currently taking donations: gently used clothing, new hygiene products, food, phone chargers, new bedding, etc. Drop off at 962 Maraglia St. Redding, CA 96003, or to order off our Amazon Wishlist click here.
