Open Positions:

Social Worker | Part-time job

Ready for Life Foster Family Agency is seeking a qualified social worker for a part-time position with the potential to become full-time. Seeking a qualified applicant with a minimum of 2 years experience in the social work field. Must have an MA, MS or MSW in a social work related field (i.e. Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Child Development, etc.). SAFE Training is a plus. 

Conflict resolution skills with good communication and report writing skills are a must. Ability to work well with people, maintain a positive attitude, solid boundaries, and have knowledge of the foster care system and state regulations. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and compliance with professional ethical standards. 

The candidate should be flexible, dynamic and punctual, with the ability to work independently and on occasional evenings/weekends.

Must possess or obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a Driver’s License. Must receive a criminal record review (including Child Abuse, D.O.J., and FBI clearances) prior to beginning employment. Must receive a Health Screening (verifying good health) and a TB screening not more than one year prior to or seven days after employment Must submit a current DMV printout and a copy of vehicle registration. Salary dependent on experience.
